Griffin Trapp, LPC

Right now, you're probably in one of a few different head-spaces. Maybe you've been dealing with something on your own a long time, and now you're looking for help. Or, you have the sense that something is off, and you're considering your options. Maybe things have never been worse, and you feel like you're drowning in it. In any case, you've likely noticed that persisting in a private, internal struggle is very challenging and lonely.

Therapy is effective because it is collaborative. Good therapy takes place in an environment in which you feel seen, safe, and curious. These are the conditions for insight, understanding, and ultimately, meaningful change. My approach is integrated. I work primarily with a few different lenses, including psychodynamic and existential therapy, ACT, and IFS.

Many of those I work with come to counseling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, anger, obsessiveness, relationship problems, or overwhelming or destabilizing emotions. Each can make a life difficult. Together we assess what's working, what's not, and chart a new path forward. If you're ready to start, I'd love for us to talk.
